Meet One of Our Regular Pop-Up Vendors: Where Collective

If we had it our way, every day at Book + Bottle would feel like a big party. And, most of the time, it does feel like a party in our shop: There’s always wine, snacks, and lots of laughter. But sometimes we want to add a little spice to our already festive environment. This is when we’ll call up businesses like Where Collective to hang out with us for a day. They’ve posted up outside our shop with their ethical products on several occasions, so we thought it might be time to introduce their business to you in more detail. We love this business—and its mission—for so many reasons. When you find a small business you love, it’s essential to uplift them in every way possible. Hosting pop-ups with Where Collective is how we show them our support.

The first thing you need to know about Where Collective: It’s co-owned by two powerhouse women: Hannah Young and Kelsey Foster. As a women-owned business ourselves, we feel so motivated when we see two ambitious women embarking on a business plan that upholds the values we do. Hannah and Kelsey bonded over a glass of wine and their shared dream to own a boutique back in 2019. Then, only a year later, Where Collective was born. They met Terra through a mutual friend out in Colorado, and the rest is history! Through this business, they strive to support artisans in a way that supports the communities where their goods are made. These items range from beautiful handcrafted jewelry to household items like hand towels and bowls.

Where Collective's brand is both classic and rustic. They’re always sourcing new items from a range of vendors which keeps this brand fresh for customers. The effort they put into the process of acquiring and selling goods is consistently mindful. When they partner with artisans, here are some things they prioritize: Ethically made products, quality over quantity, handmade products, artisans with a common goal of social good, sustainability, and women-owned businesses. As you can tell, they harbor many of the same values as Book + Bottle. This is why we love hosting them in our shop. It broadens our collective goal to create a community of small businesses that work towards building a better world for generations to come.

We’ve had Where Collective in our shop on some of our dearest occasions. They helped us prepare for the holidays in December of 2021 and celebrated our 2 year anniversary with us in March of 2022. We often host them for random Sunday pop-ups (because we just can’t get enough!). And we always keep them in mind when we bring in multiple vendors for events like our June Book + Bubbles Bash.

We hope you get to meet Where Collective very soon! A couple of great ways to stay in the know are to join our email newsletter and check our events calendar often. These avenues will keep you posted on when Where Collective is making another appearance. Stay tuned for more info on other vendors we like to invite to the shop!

And, even if they’re not physically with us, you can shop their ethical wares online anytime!
