We love fostering community here at Book + Bottle and one of the best ways to do that is to host fun events where people can gather and share in their passions. Our full calendar of interesting events is below and here’s what you can expect on a regular basis:

Regularly Hosted Events
Sip + Stitch: Wednesdays 10AM - 12 PM; Have a latte or a glass of wine as you knit/crochet/embroider with likeminded textile artists of all levels; free
Writer’s Happy Hour: Tuesday 4-5PM; A combination of curated writing guidance and dedicated writing time, this is a great community to get your creativity flowing; free

B+B Sponsored Book Clubs
Fiction Book Club: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
Lady Leaders + Readers Book Club: Monthly on the last Sunday from 10AM - 12PM (outside of regular business open hours)
Genre Book Club: Alternating with New + Noteworthy, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
New + Noteworthy Book Club: Alternating with our genre book club, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)

Wine Events
Weekly Happy Hour: Tuesday through Friday from 4 - 6PM, get $1 off any alcoholic drink on our menu and free popcorn while you drink

Wine Education Happy Hour: Snowy Alpine Wines

Come enjoy a safe, socially-distanced, and guided wine tasting through the snowy winter wonderland of the Alps!

The moment it dropped below 70 degrees here in St. Pete, I felt like Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music, spinning around on the top of a snow-capped mountain. I felt transported to the snowy alps and knew we had to take you on a virtual ski vacation to the cool, crisp climates that produce some amazing, less familiar wines. Come with us on a journey to the Alps this winter!

Please arrive early, beginning at 6:30PM. Class will begin promptly at 7PM.

What you can expect:

  • Space between you and our other guests. Each person/ couple will have their own table. We're keeping tickets to a minimum to promote safety, health, and optimal conversation.

  • A line up of five crisp wines from the cool Alpine regions of Italy, Austria, and France - sparkling, white, and even red!

  • A handout with information on each wine with room for you to take notes

  • Palate cleanser snacks

  • A guided tasting by Book + Bottle's wine experts

  • You can add on a gorgeous charcuterie box from Gather Round and Graze for an additional $15 that is perfect for two people to snack on
